I find it weird too. The Rockets would have been a lot of fun with Bosh. Maybe he wants to work on his personal legacy now that he has the two titles. Pile up a bunch of stats with a lesser roster to get into the elite all-time power forward discussion. And take the extra max year.

I deleted it because it was meaningless lol, apparently the Phillies can put Lee on the 60-day and still recall him right after the ASB. Just a logistical measure, he's good to go. I'd still be worried about Lee long-term though. CatsAss should trade him.

He wasn't, they DFA'd him to clear a 40-man spot. He should clear waivers and get outrighted back to Buffalo.

Yes! Why shouldn't Tanaka be entitled to whatever someone will pay him? And the high-payroll teams like the Dodgers and Yankees are great for baseball. Even if you hate them, you have to respect their history and tradition. They have big brands and draw a lot of interest to the sport. Plus, their wealth keeps everything running through revenue sharing.
