  1. How exactly is Diaz better than Kawasaki?!
  2. Because that would be an unfair to the Rays.
  3. Shark will get to pitch like once in two weeks at this rate. At least double-headers don't really affect position players.
  4. He sure is and that's the story here. Good hitting. It's not like the bullpen walked the whole park or anything. Cecil should be used in high-leverage though.
  5. UZR is in! Pillar is 10th among outfielders at 2.4 runs: http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=of&stats=fld&lg=all&qual=y&type=1&season=2015&month=0&season1=2015&ind=0&team=0&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=23,d
  6. And all except for Puig and maybe Gomez are known to be injury-prone players. You get what you pay for... BTS included your thrashing of KingKat.
  7. Romero was very good when he signed the contract. He was basically who Sonny Gray is now. A durable young ground-baller with decent K:BB numbers and a history of above-average performance. If the A's locked up Gray to the 2015 equivalent of Romero's extension people would say it's a very smart move. It probably would be. Romero's downfall could not have been predicted.
  8. But zero scouts and industry experts have said that Hoffman's value is at the level of Bryant or Urias. That's the point. If you are not producing any new information then an opinion that dissents so much from consensus isn't legitimate.
  9. How many times have you seen him pitch?
  10. wat
  11. Let's hope Shark doesn't get suspended. The Royals started it!
  12. A lot of people seem to think Pillar is having a breakout year offensively. He isn't.
  13. I have 20 hits too and other teams are close. Havok's performance isn't particularly anomalous or anything. And he does have a decent team.
  14. So who will be ejected first? There should be a First Ejection Contest for today's game haha
  15. They do. Andrew McKirahan of the Braves is a Rule 5 guy and was suspended 80 games for stanozolol use. He will remain a Brave.
  16. Dave Cameron in his chat: Donovan: Bautista was not thrown at fwiw. If a phone bothered to check, the Orioles’ pitcher was a Rule V guy who has never pitched above A ball and in 5 MLB IP has 5 walks and 2 HBP. Also, his post-game comments were just Inflammatory and embarrassing. Dude’s ego is outta control. 12:32 Dave Cameron: Gee, I wonder if you’re an orioles fan.
  17. Someone on OH to o2cui2i: http://forum.orioleshangout.com/forums/showthread.php/147524-Jose-Bautista-is-the-scum-of-the-baseball-world/page5?p=3773362#post3773362 Wow.
  18. He sucked for a while after the DUI but then came back and had an amazing 2013 with the Reds.
