    A World Series contender should be able to beat anyone. After all, they are usually one of the best teams in baseball. If it's unfair to compare the Jays to Boston and Detroit, then they aren't very good anyway.

    I'm not sure why I'm still watching this game. This team is not very good.

    I think trading Janssen would be fairly easy if you're getting a decent piece in return. We have too many good relievers and as you say, his value is at its peak. I'd think about Cecil too, even though I do love what he's doing.

    I'd be surprised if Gose is still with the team by the end of the year. Colby is close to winning the battle, he's having a nice season.

    Let's get either the Cuban guy or Peavy. That's my wishlist.

    Meh, he doesn't attack others or anything. Just a little less informed. I don't mind him.

    Garza is a rental though, I'm not sure how that would make sense.

    I don't have a strong feeling about it either way. I think JJ has pitched worse than his peripherals suggest -- I don't think he's going to simply regress to that 3.70 xFIP. He's not throwing anything in the strike zone. I also think Alvarez has a chance to become a decent pitcher in the NL with a few adjustments.

    We'd need a change in bench philosophy or a trade for this to happen. The obvious move is Lincoln to Buffalo and one of these guys up, but we'd have to bail on Blanco or DeRosa for both to come up. If AA made promises to those guys, I can't see it happening without a trade (Rasmus out?).

    Well, I led for a few weeks in February/March with around 1000 a week. Was out for the whole day, annoying to already be down by so much lol.

    I was so high on Starling Marte in the pre-season, no idea why I ended up taking Jason Kubel over him in Round 11. With Machado, Marte and Harvey already performing like all-stars, Gibbers' team could contend a lot sooner than people thought.

    I think it'll also be a lot more fun if everyone starts at zero, it's a fresh start. Hitting a milestone feels more important when you don't have ECJF way up at 50,000+. Post counts at the old forum were also arbitrary because of frequent bannings for high-post members.

    I hope they're aggressive with him given we only have him for 2013. He may be the biggest disappointment so far, I was expecting a #2 starter and instead he spent a month nibbling away before ending up on the DL.

    Not a big deal, but the "Load New Messages" feature from the old board's Chrome add-on was great. It allowed you to participate in high-volume threads like GDTs - continually refreshing and scrolling gets tedious.

    I still can't believe I fell for the Josh Johnson "just some regular soreness, won't miss his next start" bit. He was available to pinch-hit, so this time maybe they weren't lying.

    Sunday rest apparently, he's available to pinch-hit. There are rest days built into the schedule, I don't understand why managers feel the need to regulate it themselves.

    I don't think it would be fair to those who were banned on the other board. And it seems like with the trolls on the other board it was easy to rack up the posts, a lot of them were just two or three words. The value of a post on the old board is less than one on this board.

    I don't know what capabilities we have, but maybe have the current day's GDT as a sticky in the main forum, and then shift it to a sub-forum of old GDTs after the day is done.

    We should definitely give him a chance to develop, the SIGH85 guy on the old board wasn't really a troll and was open to meaningful conversation. Really excited to see what Fatcow can come up with!
