  1. Probably a little revisionist history going on, but I was the same way. Was perfectly fine with giving up D'Arnaud for Dickey. When Syndergaard got thrown in at the end, everything changed for me.
  2. Even though the #5 pick could fetch a decent piece on its own, I wouldn't move it unless it's in a package for a stud. Rebuilding teams generally want two premium future assets and a decent third future asset for their studs, and you can use the #5 pick as one of those premium assets. Essentially, you'll get a higher return by packaging top future assets than trading them individually.
  3. Anyone else watching Padres-M's? Josh Johnson has it going..
  4. TheCatsAss and I made a big trade this afternoon: #118 pick for Nicky Delmonico
  5. You can't base anything off of spring stats guys, you've all said it yourselves. Ricky's poor performance this March means nothing going forward. What matters is that Pete Walker has fixed his mechanics and thus Ricky will be a dependable #4 starter for the Blue Jays this year.
  6. Durability definitely matters. Strasburg is a good #2. The Nats have four #2s in fact. My Ace has to be a horse. A guy who has premium per-inning stats that I also know will take the ball every five days and go deep into the game.
  7. With a durability component too. Ace - consistently pitches 220+ innings #2 - consistently over 200 #3 - consistently makes 30 starts, at least 185 innings #4/5 - consistently makes 25 starts
  8. Joel Carreno was our #3 starter in 2012, order doesn't really mean anything lol. Kudos to the Jays for maximizing the comparative starting pitching effect.
  9. I'd flip 2014 AL ROY Matt Davidson for Andrus.
  10. There's more to being a top starter than pure stuff. I'm worried that Salazar will never become that durable workhorse who's regarded among the top 15 fantasy starters. At the end of the day though, it's worth the risk. Guys with that kind of whiff ability just don't come along very often.
  11. Good trade. It's hard to acquire an elite talent and not come out well. The race for the Turkey Bacon Club Division Title is going to be crazy.
  12. Well something just happened. CatsAss is building a monster. Darvish, Lee, Strasburg. Good grief.
  13. Are 2286 professional plate appearances also not an indication of anything?
  14. Yeah you may as well keep Lee, accounting for inflation. Belt is a definite keep for me too.
  15. Yes, definitely. I'll have to go to bed really early.
  16. I'd probably give up two SP1/2s (Price, Bailey) for Bryce.
  17. Boxy I like your team a lot. I'm not a big Domonic Brown guy, but getting him 126 was a great buy. Your offense has everything, including a lot of youth. Above-average pitching staff too.
  18. lol aren't all straight-up prospect for prospect trades 'challenge trades?' It's hard to find a clear definition. The Montero-Pineda trade was reported to be a challenge trade.
  19. I'd move him along for the right value. Not sure what I'd want from your team... PM me you if have any specific ideas.
  20. It's a challenge trade! I'm banking on Singleton's bad 2013 being the product of drug abuse.
  21. Wow. I like Belt a lot, good trade BTS.
  22. No Stephen Drew for us lol
  23. Send me an offer then! I'm open to moving him.
  24. What if Erik Johnson and/or a pick upgrade was/were thrown in?
  25. I would trade Cueto for a good prospect and/or a pick upgrade. You could pry Gregory Polanco away from z3r0s and flip him to me... he wants an infield prospect for Polanco. Corey Seager could work, maybe ask Havok22 if he'd take Hunter Harvey and Marcus Stroman or the #16 pick. Duffy and Erik Johnson are available for less too.
