  1. It was a very good debut. I wish people would save anointing him until he has a couple of seasons under his belt. He's barely finished drinking his first coffee and Buck is talking HOF. I wish the Sportsnet people would stop pumping him up and just let it play out. Manoah was the anointed one, until he couldn't throw strikes. The cologne guy, Chaucin, went from anointed to oh my God, what is that stench in a heart beat. Slow the roll, let it play out. There is potential, lots of it, but lets not get out over our skis and crash before he takes off.
  2. Diaz is just a horrible ump. He has been for a long time. He was all over the place on both sides. Not bias, just really bad at his job
  3. It would be outstanding if the last series against Tampa doesn't mean anything
  4. I'm sorry, but what a f***ing win!!!! great job by all the pitches in this game!!!! wow!
  5. good Little is hard to hit, bad Little is hard to watch
  6. I don't mind taking him out there. Let him come off the field feeling like he kicked ass for his first start.
  7. A couple really fast innings now. This has been a solid debut for the kid. I'm happy for him and for the Jays. I hope the offense can get him a couple and give him his first win.
  8. Did Boyle steal Eugene Levy's eyebrows?
  9. it won't be the first time the team has struggle against a guy who's been a scrub. I have no idea why it happens to them so often.
  10. They will settle him down between innings if the Bats can give him a couple minutes. The nerves are to be expected. If his velocity is up like they are saying, he probably overthrowing just a little. Now he's had his first inning. Fingers crossed
  11. great time to be a Jays fan. I really shouldn't stay up, but it will be cool the see the kid make is debut. I hope it goes well for him!!!
  12. and every team's fans are nervous. This was a great pen night and the pen has been a weak spot lately. This should build back confidence. . Little needed this. Hoffman was on point. Great team win.
  13. I hope so, but the pen has made me nervous the last 2 weeks. Today was a big step up. Little got a huge out to end the inning. He's had a really hard time lately. I hope this gets him sorted
  14. Hopefully this win gets the confidence back for the pen. They did a great job today. Huge game!
  15. Jays need to stress that it was just one series against a really bad club. The jays need to focus on keepingn good vibes and winning the LA series. They better not pitch to Otani. Don't let him beat you. Then live with the results. Just my opinion of course
  16. hopefully they can get the wheels back on the bus tomorrow. It's ok to lose a few, but not good to get kicked in the nuts and run over so many games in a short period.
  17. Mullins had an amazing series against the Jays
  18. I think everyone has off days. I think the combination of schedule, hot run, luck, and the deadline all played a part in this last few games. I hope the day off gets them reset and with the deadline behind them when they start next series, I hope they can bounce back. I doubt Bassett didn't prepare. I'm pretty sure he has a system of prep that he uses every game. My humble guess was that he means his mind wasn't in the right place. It happens. Wasn't it the first time this year someone not named Kirk caught him? Perhaps he was trying to make sure people didn't blame Heineman? Instead of throwing him under the bus.
  19. There are two Baltimores, the Harbor rich section and the no go zone.
