still cant believe we got Delabar and his weighted balls for Thames. Bumfiasco got way too many games last year. we knew very quickly he was a self absorbed sack of s***. Gave up on JPA? no, they let him run out of options and refused to give him an offer. Snider was broken after years with Cito. If Snider had come up with the Cards he'd probably be a superstar. and let us never forget the starts that JoJo got week after week even though everyone in the free world knew he couldn't pitch. I'm still not convinces that Thole is a better option than Kratz. at least Kratz would have given than a power bat off the bench.

it has gotten better. his footwork in RF has been better. His throws have been to the right person and online as well. If he can hit well enough and with a bit of power, I think he's possibly a big asset off the bench. Izturis is really the only completely unacceptable player on the 25 man. Diaz or Kawasaki would be better options and if f***ing mental AA hadn't throw out a 3 year deal to a guy who no one else wanted, the jays would have had better options. I really hope they try to slide Jeffress through waivers next week and bring in another bench player. need another bat.

the fans thinking it is only a small part of the problem. the biggest problem is that the FO thinks this true and AA has spent the last years digging through other teams port-a-potties for the next diamond in the rough.

he's only had 3 hits in 45 AB this spring. I know spring numbers dont really count, but that is one of the worst in all of baseball.

odds of a second team being as horribly mismanaged are miniscule so it would mean that the jays would die out and be moved.... lol viscous circle of life kind of thing.

jays let Gomes go because they are epically bad at managing and evaluating talent (period)

came out last week that they had budgeted a downtown venue with retractable roof with a price tag of 1 billion dollars. not sure who was going to pay for it, but I'd guess it will fall on tax payers as always. it would be interesting to see the design they have. Cromartie said around 30,000 seats. I think building one they are more likely to fill is far better than building one they never will.

everyone wanted AA fired last off season for trading TDA instead of JPA.

I dont have a problem with any of their personalities. Lind isn't lazy, he's super slow and there isn't much he can do about that. Navarro has been busting his fat ass all spring. He's been given a huge opportunity and I doubt he will be dumb enough to take his shot at being the number 1 guy lightly. Not sure where you were last off season or even 2012 because most of the board knew JPA was a sack of s*** in 2012 and were infuriated that he wasn't traded last off season. in particular I remember how most of us went nuts when JPA came out last off season and said that AA had told him that he wasn't being traded. so saying people didnt hate him until late last season is being oblivious to reality.

my thought too... two games in a novelty weekend is not the same as trying to get people to show up for 81 games a year for the foreseeable future.
