not necessarily. they could knock the living s*** out of CC in the first 3 innings. then we can put the D on the field. lol

if the jays are in the lead in the 7th inning, they have to bring in Rasmus and Goins and the D will help the pen hold on for a win.

I think Lind could have dealt with it, but he has other bats he can use and then we have a bench that will be useful late in the game when they come back with a Rh pitcher.

K/BB 16/3 3 run in 21 innings WHIP 0.771 he was good in the spring.

would have to see Lind's splits against CC in 2009. Lind is in that kind of form. if he hit CC then, he could have hit now, but I understand making sure they get all the right handed batters in. Sierra needed a start and Colby needed a day off. it's all good if Hutch can go 6-7 strong innings
