Diaz, Kawasaki, Izturis line until Reyes gets back would be better. Goins is only useful if the jays are ahead late. he offers little else unless someone can teach him to get on base. I like the idea of Gose being a Defensive replacement late and pinch runner, but I dont want to see him getting ABs. he's as bad as Goins.

Lind cant possibly be worse than Rasmus in the 2 hole. if they move Lawrie in the two spot the bottom 4 would be brutal.

Question is how long will Jose be patient? Jose wants to hit and he's taking the walks, but if Ed doesn't start hitting soon Jose will try to do too much.

only way he makes it up is if the team DFA thole or Kratz. Fransisco would struggle to get AB as long as Lind, Ed and Lawrie are healthy and probably even if 2 of them dont go down at the same time.

he plays all 3 outfield positions, 2nd, 3rd and SS... he's a perfect option for the bench but it would mean that they have to send Goins down or trade Izturis and I dont think AA is willing to eat that plate of crow yet. at least Izturis has been able to hit so far. it should be an easy choice, but then it is AA we are talking about. sigh

I still think Beeston's hair took over as CEO a couple years ago. kind of like the Old Spice commercials... I wonder what Beeston's hair gets paid to do those? I'd like the team to be run by baseball guys, but the bare minimum would be someone who understands the open market system that the team is exists in.

according to AA they had money in play to sign Santana, but that could be AA treating us like mushrooms again and at some point the fans will react unkindly to being fed s***.
