sellers market and the prices are ridiculous. sure AA could go get a player who is a redundancy of what they already have, but I think they need to roll with this and if they are healthy and in it, make a waiver move in the end of August. If Lind, EE, Lawrie and the rest of the team are not healthy and performing well it wont matter if they make a move now. If all those guys are back and the pitching continues they will have a shot without having to sell their soul.

none of us really thought AA was going to get anything done at the deadline. Some where hoping to get shocked and the rest were afraid they'd be shocked at the deadline.

A's rotation is made to win series. if they stay healthy they will be hard to beat in a 5 or 7 game series with games every other day.

Buck and Pat talked about that last night. They said that Henry has said that thinks they need to trade for position players and then buy all the pitching. is there really enough pieces out there this winter to rebuild the entire pitching staff?

Sox have had almost the entire offense have an off year. I dont think they will be as bad next year. Adding Cespedes gives them another very scary bat to negotiate. will they have the pitching next year?
