    some good defense getting it done there! Pat and Matt talking about the all star voting is funny. they obviously have no idea what ballot box stuffing or bot voting are. they're so cute.... lol a few thousand Canadians voted 14 million times. lol we cheated better than KC fans.

    I know.... they are not good, but they both have a better arm than Carrera and that really speaks to how bad Carrera's arm is because Cola doens't have a very good arm, but Cola has an idea of where to throw the ball, Valencia is better. out of the three I'd take Danny V, but he will have to continue to rake against LHP. if not I'd take Smoak at first and Cola in LF.

    the thing I can agree on is that we have had too many pitchers get thrown into the fire this year before they are ready. Expecting guys who are not ready to do well and kicking them to the curb when they don't is lame.

    1 game? lol no, it's his collective work. He has NO clue where he is supposed to throw the ball and has a weak and wild arm. one game would be fine, but it's pretty much every time the ball is hit to him. but sure... you're welcome to think he's passable as a defender.

    disagree completely. Colabello and Valencia are not good defenders but Carrera is absolutely horrible. Valencia has by far the best arm of the 3. Carrera is fast but gets the worst reads and really bad reaction times. If he could actually catch the balls he gets to he wouldn't be as bad, but he can't even do that regularly. he has at least 3 errors this year on balls that have STOPPED rolling!?!?!? at least the other 2 can pick the ball on when it's standing still. No the other two are not good options but that is what the jays have until Pompey comes back.

    yeah... Carrera sucks defensively. He's not a horrible bat for an elite defender, but he's a s***** bat for a guy who can't track the ball, throw the ball or even know where to throw the ball if he happens to pick it up when it stops rolling.

    that's a few times now that Rivera has thrown up the stop sign when the runner is 10 ft past 3rd at a full sprint. the old "ooops I didn't pull out" play.
