actually I've been banning both. the GDT is about the only thread that non regulars visit and We need to keep it civil. there are other places where more is tolerated. I've let people know this on several occasions.- keep it to baseball and be NICE to each other in here. Jaysfan could have posted about how many people I ban... don't care. asking how many useful posts I make is a personal attack and thus not allowed. I'd have banned him anyways for creating a new account, but now he risks a much longer ban to his original account if he doesn't cool down and behave. -

Jays4life is pushing his luck. creating a new account while being banned is NOT allowed. trying to piss off a mod is arrogant and childish. People need to be respectful in the GDT. there are people who actually want to talk baseball. if you want to vent go to the FIRE GIBBONS thread. -

he might be too good for his own good? AA got caught with his pants down... again. We came into the year with NO depth in the pen or the rotation. He took a flyer on a lot of unproven players and no back up plans. If it's money, then the Miami and Mets trades make no sense whatsoever. Why you take on that much salary with so many holes still there and no money left is beyond me. Osuna is a lot better than anyone expected. Norris, Sanchez, Castro, Pompey... not so much. 20% success on that kind of bet is actually better than you'd expect. just think how bad things could be if Osuna wasn't as good as he has been.

they are not the only ones. he's rated well by a lot of announcers. What he's done so far is great. He needs to build up durability. 25-30% increases are fairly normal. he's on a pace to double his most innings ever before sept. I'd hate to ruin what is potentially a great asset going forward. that doesn't make sense.

Valencia and Colabello didn't exactly have nights to write home about. I dont think it would hurt letting Smoak play first against a LHP. his average is not that bad against RHP and his defense is better than any other options we have at first. He just doesnt have as much power from the right hand side.

sure... go for the numbers without even having a thought towards how he has been used. He's almost pitched as many innings already this year as he has any year of his career in the minors or Mexico league. sure, his numbers are not the best in the league but not taking into account that he has pitched so much already is one sided just to try to make your opinion more valid. it doesn't.

he's never pitched more than 44 innings in any year. he's pitched 39 already this year. That's a lot. I agree that it happens. I just wonder if his arm will hold up

I have a question.... in the Donaldson walk, does anyone else think they pitched around Donaldson to pitch to Jose? I would. Donaldson is on fire and Bats is on a hard skidder.

the pitched missed it's spot by a lot, but it was still a strike. he's called a lot lower strikes against the jays all night.

Garcia has some potential but he's Sierra stupid right now. not sure you can teach baseball IQ to an adult. it's usually something you either figure out early or never do.
