JD being ready for Friday should be WAY down on your list of things to worry about mate. Hitting some HRs and playing two innings of baseball over 4 days should be fine. it's the flu not an amputation. Bautista on the other hand...

have to wait and see. If he doesn't have a fever or feel dehydrated today he will probably be ok. playing sick in the heat yesterday probably didn't help. I'm sure he'd have played today if the medical staff let him. JD really doesn't seem like the kind of guy who is ok with missing games.

I wouldn't have run on Perez. Pillar or maybe Reyes, but no one else.

the thing that REALLY gets to me is that he looks like he is Hollywood-ing plays. if he actually puts in an effort he makes more of the plays, but he wants it to look like he's doing it effortlessly. I'd rather see him bust a nut and make the play!!!

if he had a fever yesterday, he probably wasn't getting used today. It's not horrible for the team to let him stay home.

it was either Goins or a sick Donaldson because Navarro probably would have melted before he got to first. Martin had already hit into one DP and should have hit into another if they Royals didn't play hot potato. lots bad in today's game.

ump was telling him to get in the box and that's when it got stupid. Ump makes a bad call he needs to pull back and let the player walk it off. Jose should have shut up as well... both in the wrong.
