    I just don't like when he wets his pants on a ball that barely makes it too the warning track. after 40 years around the sport you'd think he'd be better at that. Tabler brings down the IQ level in "homer" and that's hard to do.

    we're going into a National league park and need position players. we have days off that mean we don't need 5 starters He can be recalled in 10 days no one else has an option, so it's the right roster move. Hutchison can start in AAA so he stays sharp. ----------------------------------------------------------------- wish we still had Valencia.

    it's because we are play NL team and then 2 teams where we wont be back again this year. just in case there is bad weather they want to make sure the game get played because they don't want to schedule an extra game in parks we wont be back to. that would suck even more than 2 days off in a week. 3 in the next 8 days.... it would be horrible for our team to have to travel back to LA or Texas for 1 make up game in sept. the three days off are very good for the jays because of our lack of depth as well. Jays are getting some much needed rest for players who we can't really afford to sit.

    Jays have sold a lot of tickets for remaining games. If they can be in the race or at the front of the division the rest of the season they could get to 2.7M fans this year. that would be the most since 1995 when they had 2.8M they need to avg 40k for the remaining 18 home games to get to 2.72.

    the person who REALLY needs time off is Pillar, but we only have 3 out fielders on the roster.

    I'm with RA on this one.... 10. 49000+ will all want one. jays will be over 40k for every game the rest of the season.

    he was tagged at second without his foot on the base. he should have been out right there. stepping on the base means the back runner is out because only the lead base runner can have the base but he is tagged after that and then they tag the guy who was already out. dumb runners and dumb ump.
