  1. They both hit doubles, they're both athletic corner OFs, and I guess Thames did almost hit for a high average once lol. Maybe not the best comp. Maybe a Shin-Soo Choo who strikes out a bit less?
  2. Reported for containing JP Arencibia.
  3. That's fair. With more walks, not that that's saying much of anything.
  4. That's a big could. I respect your not wanting to comment but just because you're a not a scout means you can't comment? You're intelligent and just because you're not a scout doesn't mean you shouldn't withhold an opinion.
  5. Did Thames have as much going on in his swing, though? An ET comp isn't exactly a glowing review haha.
  6. I generally remember him having a Rasmus-esque leg kick, but wow, if he added positions (2B/1B/CF/LF/RF) I'd like him a whole lot more. That would be really impressive.
  7. Meh, I guess I misinterpreted the "if." I don't agree that's his upside but the general player type we can agree on. Good discipline, decent average, lots 'o doubles. I'm willing to bet he'll never reach Gordon's peak lol. Oh god, is Michael Crouse actually still around? He suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. There's nothing more than I'd like for Smith to rise through levels mashing, though. Never go full Greenwood.
  8. "If" a guy an hit .300. You're not seriously expecting him to hit .300? Yes, he's a good fielder, so are the rest of our OF prospects lol. Low A isn't exactly very close to the bigs either.
  9. How the f*** is that irrelevant? And don't you think 3 very very good seasons in a row is more important data than a set of s***** starts?
  10. I understand why, I'm just never going to give up on Anderson lol
  11. Is this grainy or outdated? How many times had YOU seen him play before slapping an Alex Gordon label on him? I'm not saying he's a non-prospect or anything, and he's had a nice start to the year, but his numbers weren't exactly great last year and I don't like what I've seen of him.
  12. Has he done hockey? I'd like to see that. Any time he isn't with Leo Rautins or Jack Armstrong he's great.
  13. Litsch was 22. Nolin is 24.
  14. Live? 0 lol. I've watched some video on him for whatever that's worth.
  15. He seemed to have a decent grasp of the game, especially when talking about Gausman's repertoire; and no "big soft hands" and "strong hips" or whatever s*** Tabler spews.
  16. Don't even say that, too horrible to think about
  17. I think they have one decent writer, and their basketball articles really aren't terrible, but their baseball is just horrendous. And their hockey is all plagiarism.
  18. I honestly don't see that kind of ceiling on him. Maybe it's just me. I'm not exactly an expert on prospects. Just don't like the kid and if we could get a useful piece for him I'd do it in a second.
  19. Please do. One last year compared Jake Marisnick to Ryan Braun.
  20. You're generally good at that, but I'm too sick to have the energy. Good effort, though.
  21. Oh my God if we get Frazier at 10. That would be amazing.
  22. Zeroing in on this, why the f*** do people undervalue speed and defense so f***ing much? What do you think Smith Jr's ceiling is? 2nd division starter? And why does being further away from the MLB cause you to s*** on Davis? Coming from you.
  23. And then there's my post count lol
