    Yeah, that seems reasonable. I just don't like that he makes those gaffes in the first place. They're very basic fundamentals.

    ... Ehhh. I haven't seen his metrics in a while, but going by the eye test, he relies on his speed too much. Takes s*** routes to the ball. Usually has a bad arm (although for whatever reason sometimes has moments of brilliance/adrenaline). I don't really like him that much in the field. Although I certainly enjoy having him on the team.

    No, no he most certainly didn't. He also doesn't give you s*** on defense but gives you quality production on offense from his baserunning. Oh, and you said you'd stop posting here.

    He didn't really fall too far. The whole draft was essentially thrown off by Frazier being taken at 5 by the Indians. If they had taken Moran, the Marlins probably would have taken Shipley, but then Moran went to MIA.

    Which ours doesn't. So I don't think Lind fits the 3 hole atm. Although, if we're gonna build narratives, Lind had his best season hitting mainly in the 3 hole, didn't he? It could do wonders for his confidence or whatever ********.

    If we were gonna play on the hotstreaks... 1 Melky 2 Bautista 3 Rasmus 4 Encarnacion 5 Lind Rasmus has been hot lately. He seems like a nice enough 3 hitter right now, at least until he goes into a 1-57 slump.

    Well cross Stanek off because Anthopoulos is stupid enough to avoid any and all Boras clients. Harvey I think we can cross off, but I would have taken Shipley. It's not a bad pick, it's that we had better options available.

    You can make good cases for Smith, Peterson and Renfroe at 10, maybe even Crawford (although I do think I'd take Bickford over him).

    Legit question (not sarcastic), isn't 5th more important than 3rd in the lineup? I'd think 3rd comes up with 2 outs / no one on more times than most.

    Okay, one, Reyes SHOULD be our SS, which is acceptable. Rasmus also isn't that bad an option in CF and we also have Gose. 2B is a weak link, but the saddest thing? Alex probably thinks C is a strength right now.

    I think that was an ESPN fluff piece, I read that too. Meadows, Stanek and Martinez were all top 5 picks. It was too early. Martinez WOULD be an amazing draft choice, though.

    Rays batted Carlos Pena leadoff last year lolol. If we're optimizing by The Book, I would take Lind leadoff vs righties, and Bautista leadoff vs lefties.
