  1. It's not that slow, the fantasy threads keep it moving. I can guarantee the prospects subforum would be posted in though. King with the MiLB recaps, ace with his copy-paste skillz, Angrioter breaking news, and my Kalfus-pumping would keep that alive.
  2. He's an incredible pitcher and he generally does go for quite a bit in trades, I don't think he'd be cheap. We'd probably have to give 2 top 5 prospects imo. Dickey Lee Johnson Buehrle Morrow Romero/Wang/Rogers/Stroman/Hutchison/Drabek That could be our pitching at some point if we traded for Lee without giving up any of those guys. That's pretty fap-worthy to think about. I don't think it happens, though.
  3. Congrats on the promotion, Mr. Leblwhopgirgpwr... uhh, Jason! Well deserved and it's nice to see one of 'my guys' per se being rewarded.
  4. Just read that the Nats probably aren't gonna replace Haren on MLBTR and Espinosa is coming off an injury. Plus, Haren hasn't been great, has he?
  5. I have a feeling Amaro has an affinity for JPA's RBIz. JPA + Nolin = Utley + Ruiz?
  6. Can we fire you? Out of a cannon? Into the Arctic? You just quoted yourself. Lol.
  7. 3.45 FIP from relievers with 20 innings. That's a damn nice bullpen, I gotta admit.
  8. Our bullpen ERA with guys who have pitched at least 20 innings is 2.68. I'll figure out the FIP, just a sec
  9. I think they'd have to throw in Cabrera and Fielder for that to be fair, though.
  10. Was Delabar throwing his slider last year? I don't remember it very clearly.
  11. Every year, we kinda have one guy with this aura about him. Bautista in 2011, EE in 2012, now Lind.. it's just this impression that something special could happen at any minute. Dude is dangerous right now, loving this little hot streak.
  12. Haha, I dunno why I like saying "f*** that noise" so much. It's just fun to say. But no, if we traded Janssen it should be for a young, MLB-ready contributor. From the Tigers, think Alex Avila, Rick Porcello, Drew Smyly, or maybe even Nick Castallenos lol. Someone who could come up now and help.
  13. Yeah, Squints has been better, it seems. I seem to find myself looking at reliever xFIP leaderboards on fangraphs quite a bit and I know Andrew Miller is generally up there, he's pretty good, but I don't think anyone has anything on Squints right now.
  14. No clue why Torrealba was so upset. Remember when he was a Blue Jay? Good times. Only not really.
  15. Don't go there, Rockies. Don't start this. Is being f***ing retarded an NL West trend now?
  16. In pure stats I think Miller's been better... but I think (emphasis on think) Cecil's platoon splits are less extreme and he's just plain dirtier. Plus, Squints' TWTW is probably off the charts.
  17. Scott Feldman, Dustin Ackley, Rick Porcello, Drew Smyly, Alex Avila, Gordon Beckham, Scott Baker, Ricky Nolasco, Jake Peavy, Chase Utley, Matt Garza, Carlos Ruiz, Huston Street, Andrew Cashner, Aramis Ramirez, Yovani Gallardo, Jon Lucroy. Those are all guys we could buy on imo.
  18. Has he been better than Andrew Miller this year? He's been another guy that's dirty this year.
  19. KAWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII I don't like the idea of a LOOGY closer, honestly, but a closer platoon of Squints/Santos or whatever wouldn't be bad if we got good value for Casey.
  20. --homer cap off-- Seriously, great day from Kalfus today. --homer cap on-- ALL HAIL THE KING
