I think we blew him up for like 7 runs when he was with the Yankees at some point. Game ended at with over 20 combined runs IIRC lol. I was there. It was crazy. If we don't beat him today.. bleh.

Once again, I would definitely trade Sierra for him. -------- J.P. Arencibia is a perfect Loria guy. Grew up in Miami, he's Cuban, and he hits lots of dingers. Rob Brantly had a .370 wOBA in his cup of coffee last year and is struggling a bit this year but he's only 23. I really think a JPA + low level prospect for Brantly trade could work.

You kind of have to be as pessimistic as possible when assessing injuries. Dickey is injured it's obvious. Johnson is a walking chandelier and Morrow may not be back for the rest of the year. Buehrle... okay, kinda awesome. Rogers probably won't have the stamina to start for much longer. Wang could gas can. Romero is still walking 3 guys in 6 innings in Buffalo. Happ is coming off a horrendous injury. Hutchison and Drabek are coming back off of TJS and are young and you can't count on that. And Jenkins is quite likely to gas can. Also, some guys you left out: Nolin blew up, Stroman isn't someone you should *depend* on, Deck McGuire is complete s***, etc. I don't really like our depth.

Bonifacio, as much as we all hate him, has been significantly better at 2nd lately. UZR/150 of something like -2.1 which isn't completely horrendous I guess. He's passed the eye test as well (for me, at least).

Ace, a lot of the guys we like are ranked from 8 onwards. Is MLB.com just s*** or are these guys not as highly thought of as I thought? That'd be nice, because I really like 'em (Perez, Diplan, Encarnacion, Asuncion, etc)

"inherited runs stranded" isn't hard to find. It's LOB%, and it's on fangraphs. So I dunno what OP is talking about with that.
