  1. tank nation is sad f*** off Escobar
  2. Idk, that's the common narrative I've seen so far, that he takes lots of pitches, and it's being used as a huge positive (just in people I talk to). Not many people get that it isn't necessarily a good thing.
  3. Only took Alex Presley, nice move from Huntington
  4. Rookie P/PA: 3.84 Goins P/PA: 3.85 I don't feel like doing hitter's counts / game though lol
  5. Fair enough. He also has a 27% LD% I think.
  6. There's the Boni we all know and detest
  7. David Cooper opts out of his deal with the Indians. .800 OPS floor ftw.
  8. Just my impressions of things; -People say Goins isn't getting lucky despite his BABIP -BTS disagrees in his post, implicating that he is in fact getting lucky -I argue what may just be semantics, and say it's more sustainability and less luck Idk, my reading comprehension occasionally goes to s***.
  9. Haha, nice way to get your 1000th hit, Edwin
  10. I may be off base in saying this, and fully acknowledge that possibility, but I don't think Goins is getting lucky as much as his stats are just plain unsustainable.
  11. That isn't how WAR works. The only thing missing from this is a comment about how we look up stats from our mothers' basements, and you have a vintage Heyman VORP article.
  12. Tell me right now if you think a .478 BABIP is sustainable. I guess I see how someone referring to BABIP as pure luck is irritating, but tell me, does that seem even remotely sustainable, lucky or not?
  13. 3.7 BB% .077 ISO 27 PA .478 BABIP To be fair, he's racked up .7 Fld in 7 games. That's 16.2 over a full season. Yay, misusing statistics
  14. I think his main point was that it's small sample size, which it really is lol
  15. I already posted my way. Idk, Halladay could be nice as a back end guy, but we can't depend on him as an ace right now. And Hughes just isn't someone I would want in RC, with his fly ball tendencies.
  16. ..Nah. I don't like it. Do you even AL East, bro?
  17. Orioles acquire Morse as per Heyman
