    3 wins from the bullpen, 24.8 from the offense (both of those from steamer), and ~17 from the rotation ends up as like a 92 win team. Of all the things that will never, ever happen, this would be the nicest.

    Rearrange the order to optimize the Dickey effect, maybe Hamels Dickey Morrow Buehrle Lee And that's a pretty rockin' rotation. That's like 15 wins or so, right? 4 + 4 + 2 + 2 from the Dickey effect + 2 + 1.

    Pretty sure the rumor was that he's just not looking to eat a single dollar. I don't disagree, but I'm just trying to piece together rumors and such. Probably not, but I have no god damn clue with this team anymore, and at this point if we're gonna throw s***/ideas at the wall and see what sticks that seems plausible under certain circumstances. I figure we have the assets in a trade, but agree that we may not have the financial resources.

    (made an edit to my post after you quoted it btw) Does he though? He's been rumored to be pushing Paps, Rollins, Hamels and Lee trades recently, that doesn't scream "We're contenders."

    The + isn't exactly insignificant, I think more than a few teams would like toolsy guys like Davis, Norris, Gose, etc. Plus, I listed two Phillies pitchers. Pretty sure Amaro would trade Lee + Hamels + Utley/Rollins for Sanchez + Sierra. Actually, in all seriousness, if we wanted to go for a Miami-style trade again, I kind of wonder how valid an option that would be. Phillies are trying to move some vets and if Rogers ponied up, I could see AA liking that. Wonder what that package would take assuming we took on most/all of the money in the deal.

    Never thought I'd be fairly adamant about trading Sanchez, but that really does seem like the best route. Scherzer, Lee, Sale, Price, Chacin, Bailey, Samardzija, Hamels are the best options I can find quickly using my leaderboard. Wonder who Sanchez+ would get us out of that. I think it's pretty safe to rule out Shark and Sale based on what we've heard but beyond that, hmm.

    It's winter break, f*** homework. Give me a second, I'm working on it. I'm just doing the back-of-a-napkin projections for three years out and leaving the salaries blank and for you to fill in.

    Oh god I'm not doing the remainder of everyone's contracts lol. You can do that yourself with 5% increases in the cost per win and +0.5/-0.5 progression/decline numbers. and looking up the figures. Here's what I did. Feel free to edit (tell me if you can't see it or something). I'll work on it more when I'm up to it. I just used first year steamer projections.     You underestimated my laziness. Find me a good info source for our contracts.

    It's not even great lengths. Proxies really aren't that hard to set up and it's not even for this. It's useful for stuff like Netflix, Hulu, other stuff where certain countries are blacked out.
