Obviously I'm not one to just go with teams but if a good 80% of the league didn't think Skal and Davis were good picks I'm fine with not taking them, they definitely know something we don't.

Just caught up. Of all the players (all 11 of them) who averaged a double double this year, Siakam was the only one who averaged 20 ppg. Led D1 with 27 double doubles. Dunno what his efficiency is like and I haven't watched him but that's a hell of a nice start. Also rip Biyombo. So what's next? All in on Horford? Does 2Pat still have a role on the team?

It was a lazy analogy because I've been out since ~pick 7, you're right that it was strong again callinghim that I'm just being lazy here. See below for my actual thoughts on it that i tried to be more eloquent about. I think it's different because there's a much smaller separation between NBA/NCAA and MLB/NCAA or HS, it's easier to form an opinion i think He's a post up guy though. We drive our heads into the wall begging for JV post ups, now we need post ups for two? I don't think Poeltl is a clear BPA but there's definitely a case, 100%. It's just, I know BPA is important, but in basketball I think you have to consider fit in a (maybe extreme) situation like this where we have a ball dominant front court and another similar centre who's already struggling to get post up possessions. The relative value doesn't feel that high here for me is all.

He was pretty interesting at 27 but then it came out earlier today that he's potentially older than he's previously disclosed, a lot of teams blacklisted him (although that might've been a smokescreen) and this is also the 10th overall pick instead of the 27th pick.
