The Toronto Raptors trade John Salmons to the Hawks for Lou Williams and Lucas Bebe Nugiera. Williams is a 6'2" combo guard. He's not spectacularly efficient at a .419 FG% in his career, but he hits the three ball at around 34%. 18.2 PTS/36 on a .536 TS%. .116 WS/48 for his career. Coming off a down year. He'll make $5,450,000 in 2014-2015 before becoming an unrestricted free agent. It's obvious why the Hawks did this but I love it for the Raps. Great job Uriji. Nailed it again.

As a BBDL scum, if this was decided to be legal and ethical, yeah, I would totally do this. I expected to be a lot better this year, so renting a guy and getting him back while getting assets to re-tool with could not fit my plan better.

NBA: "A team can not reacquire a player they traded away during that season." So maybe make it a no reacquiring for a calendar year. I dunno.

Congrats, you want a medal for being older than me? Give quantitative evidence that this isn't a first place baseball team beyond this multi week stretch. Pytho, expected run differential, base runs, and ACTUAL REALITY disagree with you. This is the right line of thinking imo. Identifying the key factors. Sample size, strand rate and other variables needing regression, and regressed platoon splits should be taken into consideration.
