The quick calculation is just take Framing Runs Added, divide it by R/W (runs per win), and add it to the existing WAR.
Realistically, we got Devon Travis for almost free. Adding like potentially 1.5-2 wins for such a low cost is exactly what I didn't think AA could do, but wow.
I think he's going to be a really f***ing good reliever one day, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. I think he'll provide a good amount of value out of the pen, more than most relievers.
But yeah, not much faith in him as a starter.
Bringing them back for cheaper? idk. I could see a bigger plan in place but what bigger plan is there for DH?
We're a surprisingly good fit for the Red Sox. One of Victorino/Bradley Jr/Cespedes/outfielders + one of Napoli/Craig/Ortiz/DHs would be good fits.
