Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 Sometimes I miss Gibby Sometimes?!?!?!
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 If we happen to be wrecking them this game, they probably knows what's coming after the 7th Nah, they had Saucedo's card, not a big deal all this, it's gamemanship to get in their heads. Still dicks for not giving it back initially.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 He took it. He lied about not knowing what it was. He handed it off to someone else in his dugout to conceal it. He lied after the fact about it. He hasn't given it back. He should get beaned at some point in the future. Absolutely.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 Only sometimes? Faaack... beat me to it.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 I actually agree with you. A beaning is warranted here. Exactly what Hentgen said today too. KK should take it and understand why....the score being what it is right now might allow for it to happen in 2021 as well.

InsideThePark Verified Member Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 The ball wasn't in Borucki's possession when it hit Kiermaier. Based on Kevin's rules of baseball he can't be at fault, it's anyone's ball now.

He noted that last week his fell out after a slide into second and Detroit infielder Niko Goodrum tried to grab it. “I jokingly just put my foot on it and said, ‘You can’t have it,” Kiermaier said. --- This seems hypocritical.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 These are American references. It would vary state to state but I don't think any states just have a basic "finders keepers" principle as the law. The cases are probably interesting. The way it works with stuff like this is that you have your general principle and then exceptions. E.g.: - Trash put to the curb is deemed abandoned - Chattels you leave in a house when you sell it or move out are deemed abandoned

King Old-Timey Member Posted September 23, 2021 Author Posted September 23, 2021 Because it's all gamesmanship and s*** for fans and media to talk about. This isn't WWE, Hurl. This is serious. I hope Montoyo shows up to Kiermaier's home at 3 in the morning and plays the bongos outside his window.

Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 Kevin Kiermaier epitomizes Rays baseball the same way Derek Jeter epitomizes Yankees baseball. And that's why he should be kicked out of the MLB and the Rays franchise contracted.
