Any of you guys watching the CPBL at all? Good for one baseball withdrawl!

The CPBL is the Taiwanese baseball league. It's a pretty decent product. Justin Nicolino is on the mound starting today for the Rakuten Monkeys. Unlike the KBL, you can find all of the CPBL games streaming in great quality. Very accessible.

@BlueRock: yeah I was watching that game. Nicolino had a great game, but it's easy to see why his stuff doesn't play in the MLB.

 

I've been throwing some money around on these games to give me a rooting interest and I've gone 5-1. If you dig into the league it's pretty easy to make some money off of it as the lines aren't as sharp as they are in the MLB and it's easier to tell what starting pitchers are going to get rocked or not.

 

There's some fans giving excellent analysis of the league over on Reddit that helps get one up to speed with the league

Please do. I know the KBO is a much higher quality league, but oddly I can't seem to find nearly as much information on it as I can with the CPBL. I've asked around online as where to catch streams and I haven't gotten any clear answers
