Two things have to happen.. He hast to drop 20 lbs and his footwork needs to dramatically improve to stick at third. I can see him losing the weight but his footwork is what it is with an upside of marginal improvement. You can tell by the way he walks and runs it is what it is. Fortunately, his bat will certainly live up to the hype once he figures it out and it will play at first base or DH.

Pearson alone is not going to move the needle drastically. He's probably going to go through his own learning curve struggles in his first year or so.

It's obviously way too early to give up on him, he's got decent stuff. I think his delivery needs tweeking.
