Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Author Posted July 20, 2019 Top 3 batters continue to produce.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Author Posted July 20, 2019 Nice play by Galvis and Drury.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Drury is still on the Roster ugh.
Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 BBiggio is at it again. That's pretty good
Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 All the early season confidence in Thorton is flying right out the window
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Detroit broadcast says hitters can see the type of pitch that is coming from Thorton because they can see what type of grip he has on the ball in his windup. He pauses in his windup when the ball is highly visible
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Lol really bad..Shapiro and Atkins were right...vlad needed time to work on s***.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 All the early season confidence in Thorton is flying right out the window How can you be consistent with that delivery?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Vladdy has two cinder blocks for feet. Sloppy and heavy.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Vladdy has two cinder blocks for feet. Sloppy and heavy. He is not a third baseman Imo... No way he sticks there longterm.. Hope he proves me wrong.
Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 He should be in the minors working on that then
Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Grichuk contract looks worse everyday
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 He is not a third baseman Imo... No way he sticks there longterm.. Hope he proves me wrong. Two things have to happen.. He hast to drop 20 lbs and his footwork needs to dramatically improve to stick at third. I can see him losing the weight but his footwork is what it is with an upside of marginal improvement. You can tell by the way he walks and runs it is what it is. Fortunately, his bat will certainly live up to the hype once he figures it out and it will play at first base or DH.
Ex Player Verified Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Our pitching staff is Rancid That will come around in a year or two when Pearson gets called up
Ex Player Verified Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Grichuk contract looks worse everyday Nah, he's only 27. He will peak in 2 to 3 years from now, just in time when the supposed Shatkins rebuild ought to be finished
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 That will come around in a year or two when Pearson gets called up Pearson alone is not going to move the needle drastically. He's probably going to go through his own learning curve struggles in his first year or so.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 That will come around in a year or two when Pearson gets called up Lol slow down Francis.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Author Posted July 20, 2019 Trent Thornton is a perfectly suitable number 4/5 starter with some upside to be better, he's a flippin rookie for crying out loud. *smh*
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Hey, Vladdy cleared his hips well on that base hit. Positive sign.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Trent Thornton is a perfectly suitable number 4/5 starter with some upside to be better, he's a flippin rookie for crying out loud. *smh* Ya don't day captain obvious. Coach.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Author Posted July 20, 2019 Ya don't day captain obvious. Coach. Spell it, stupid.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Spell it, stupid. Nah, you should have the iq to figure it out .... Maybe.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 Trent Thornton is a perfectly suitable number 4/5 starter with some upside to be better, he's a flippin rookie for crying out loud. *smh* It's obviously way too early to give up on him, he's got decent stuff. I think his delivery needs tweeking.
