It's a no-cut event. Just 42 players in the field, though that's actually the largest this particular event has ever had. It's one of the elitist events on tour lol.

 

Love this event, never miss it. Nick Taylor 3 under... Woohoo!

 

I missed out on Rob's tourney though cause I'm dumn.

And Palmer was off to a terrible one. He's fighting back though.

 

My lineup is in the weekend long one, so I'll just be happy if everyone makes it past the cut (assuming this tournament has one). I only entered one of the small ones since I didn't have time to research it.

Wow, Ryan Palmer. So after falling to +3 through the first 4 holes, he's now tied for 1st at -6 through 16.

This has to be the best golf shot of 2020, right? Like, damn. This shot got him within 2 strokes of DJ at the time, iirc. Yeah, there's a lot of luck here, but it seems to me that Cam Smith is quietly becoming a star, if his recent form carries much weight.

 

He's already one of the best putters on tour and if he continues to make strides in his ball striking, I have to think it's only a matter of time before he moves into the Top 10-15 in the OWGR. I could easily see him winning more than once this season, which probably gets him there.

 

Dude's really good and yet he somehow just flies under the radar entirely.

This team is ~4300 out of 24K on DK. Not winning much at the moment but within striking distance of some respectable money with a big day.

 

One of my FD teams is currently ~1600th out of 33K, but it was only a 25-cent entry so there's no real money to be made unless I finish like top 15 or so, I think. I was as high as 58th going into yesterday, though, so I guess you never know.

 

And as JFL alluded to, currently 16th in Mack's Pick 5. That team is JT, BDC, Reed, Scott, and English.

 

I am pretty jazzed for today!

That bites, but the Sony Open in Hawaii is next week and looks to be a pretty decent field too.

I was up until around 6 AM, and I said to myself I'd get it in by noon when I get up, derp! I'd have had one of my Nucks in, Taylor or Hughes then, DJ/JT/Rahm and Hovland... the Canadians I flip a coin, lol.

 

No English or Palmer, though. :(

I had English, Niemann, and Thomas for outright bets, so that was mostly stress-free after Palmer dropped back near the end.
