Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 What did I ever do to you, Queen b?
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 What did I ever do to you, Queen b? I knew you wouldn't respond if I trolled Dinger in the LOD thread and I was hoping to hook both of you.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 I guess you succeeded but I'm wise to your games mister
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 I guess you succeeded but I'm wise to your games mister Not if he succeeded you aren't.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 What did I ever do to you, Queen b? Probably a good time to offload your Buxton share to me before the ship sinks. Gattis offer is still on the table, for now.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Not if he succeeded you aren't. Shut up

You can't update your website from your parent's basement? Isn't that like a prerequisite for owning a website?
spittin Verified Member Posted February 19, 2016 Author Posted February 19, 2016 You can't update your website from your parent's basement? Isn't that like a prerequisite for owning a website? Well the thing is normally house sitting shouldn't be a daunting task but she has enough exotic animals to start a zoo, and then I have to look after my place and fam too.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Hey all, Been busy house sitting for my Mom until the 24th so I will update update some stuff then such as the July MiLB picks which will be generated from REVERSE SLOT order and the waiver wire will remain as it stands on yahoo, thanks. Why? It should be reverse of the first round?
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Why? It should be reverse of the first round? Why? We're already doing that for the next MiLB draft. Waiver priority can be random.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Why? We're already doing that for the next MiLB draft. Waiver priority can be random. Well, that's just weird?
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Well, that's just weird? Not really. Waiver priority has nothing to do with the draft.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 How was waiver priority determined? Probably something derpy like who signed up first. IMO we should randomize it using a generator, since a big fish like Gourriel is at stake.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 So... sounds like Josh Hamilton's career is pretty much over. Josh Hamilton (knee) will see Dr. Keith Meister over the weekend to determine if his activity should be limited at the start of spring. Hamilton has been sidelined in recent days with left knee soreness, and the doctor will help him decide on a plan as camp ramps up. Hamilton got a cortisone shot in the knee three weeks ago, but he's already dealing with some pain, a bad sign for the 34-year-old.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 So... sounds like Josh Hamilton's career is pretty much over. Not getting drafted in a 20 team dynasty suggested as much to me.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Not getting drafted in a 20 team dynasty suggested as much to me. Yeah, Hamilton has been bad for a while now, I think replacement level play would be about the upside for him.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Not getting drafted in a 20 team dynasty suggested as much to me. His fantasy relevence is definitely over, but I mean his career might literally be over. His knee is still effed up even after multiple surgeries and he has to fend off a trio of high-upside prospects in Gallo, Mazara and Brinson.

Should be randomized given the potential impact players that could be available in Gurriel, Sierra, etc just to name a few. Would seem weird that the person with a top MLB pick would get a talent like Gurriel while someone with a low MLB pick just gets a high milb pick to balance it out.
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 The waiver order is already randomized by yahoo.
ace3113 Verified Member Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 The waiver order is already randomized by yahoo. Ok, that's fair enough for me. What's the order?
King Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Ok, that's fair enough for me. What's the order? You're 18th. GD is first.
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 You're 18th. GD is first. On second thought, I think we should definitely re-randomize just to make sure.
ace3113 Verified Member Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 You're 18th. GD is first. What pick did GD have in the MLB draft? Also, 18th damn. lol I think we have the number 1 milb pick in the draft coming up though and given our youth movement it probably makes the most sense for us.
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 BTW, the MiLB draft will be the opposite of this (the draft slot draft): 1 Queen B 2 Chappy 3 Cyborg 4 Kingfiller 5 Connor 6 j4l19 7 Abomination 8 Burlingtonbandit 9 jays_fever 10 TCA 11 Spittin 12 Boxfart 13 GDissogreat 14 havok 15 Dinger 16 L54 17 Frenchsoup 18 Greenwood 19 SpeedyMin 20 Aceguy34
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 The waiver order is already randomized by yahoo. Ok but how do you know that? When did this happen? Why would we trust Yahoo with this task when we have generated everything else using a third-party? This is kind of a high stakes moment, we could just be gifting GD an all-star talent with no real reason or process.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Here is the info from Yahoo: Starting priorities for offline drafts By default, initial waiver priorities are determined by when teams registered for the league (the last team to register starts with the highest waiver priority). If the commissioner customizes the league's draft order prior to the draft, then the league's initial waiver priorities will be determined by the reverse draft order (the team that picks last starts with the highest waiver priority). https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN6982.html Definitely need to use a third-party tool.
