Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Really hoping L54 doesn't despair us here. Huh?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Huh? What is so unclear about that?
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Just got caught up to this thread. Pretty epic. That whole BP thing might be the most entertaining thing to ever get buried in a fantasy thread. Who needs the main board?
TRM Verified Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 What is so unclear about that? Ace is done drafting...?
ace3113 Verified Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Huh? Trade contingent on our guy being there.

ace3113 Verified Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Proximity and floor. I think he can be a mid-rotation starter as soon as this year. I think he stuff might also portend more Ks in the future, he's got good fastball command and three average or better pitches. He is a borderline Top 50 prospect, not a junkballer. He should be up this year, too. Moved to a better park too.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Taking Willie Calhoun My draft- Benintendi Alen Hanson Vladdy Trent Clark Isan Diaz Willie Calhoun Pretty impressive that you punted a first rounder and yet I still like 66% of your draft.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Do you have a handy synopsis of what you had to sacrifice from the MLB draft to do all of this? No, and it would be too depressing to compile it.
spittin Verified Member Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 The soup held it down pretty good with his last 4 picks.
spittin Verified Member Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 No, and it would be too depressing to compile it. I spent a lot to get #3 MLB and #7,#8 MiLB. Gonna have to a draft our ways out of a bit of a hole.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Moved to a better park too. There's actually a chance he could break with the team, I think. Good park/league/division.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I ended up with Manaea Bell Renfroe Appel Ziomek Patterson I accomplished what I set out to do in the draft, but I'll have to wait and see if it was a good strategy or not.
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 There's actually a chance he could break with the team, I think. Good park/league/division. I'm looking forward to you giving him the full Lorenzen treatment.
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 So is Correa the consensus #3, or are Stanton and Bryant in the picture?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I'm looking forward to you giving him the full Lorenzen treatment. I'm strongly considering cutting Lorenzen from my farm. It's him or Gohara.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 So is Correa the consensus #3, or are Stanton and Bryant in the picture? Any of those or Goldy are reasonable #3s.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 So is Correa the consensus #3, or are Stanton and Bryant in the picture? Does ANYONE have him at #3 or higher, other than maybe Spittin?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 (edited) What is so unclear about that? He hasn't another pick. Hnnngghhh... Edited January 22, 2016 by Spanky99
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Goldy is 3rd on my board.
TRM Verified Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Totally off-topic, does anyone here shave with a safety razor? Considering making the change, and would be interested to hear some insight.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Trade contingent on our guy being there. I see.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Are we starting the MLB draft tomorrow or Saturday? If tomorrow, I may have to give someone a short list.
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Are we starting the MLB draft tomorrow or Saturday? If tomorrow, I may have to give someone a short list. Windows start the day after the MiLB draft concludes. Possibly tomorrow, possibly Sunday.

spittin Verified Member Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 So is Correa the consensus #3, or are Stanton and Bryant in the picture? I felt it was important to trade up to get one of them, or Goldshmidt. My goal is to compete now though, so that is my biggest factor in play.
