I think Neil Wagner has a bus to Buffalo due. Expect someone else (Jenkins? Stilson? Someone else) to be called up for tomorrow's game.

Yeah. Redmond is up and ready and can easily throw 60+ pitches to finish the game, and Gibby leaves Wagner out to throw 47 pitches. Was he punishing him for the walks or something?

 

 

 

That's what I'm thinking, but who knows. I know this, I haven't been impressed by his decision-making this season (especially the last few games )

This is nothing short of embarrassing. Honestly, I hope attendance takes a nosedive, forcing a business decision to be made to bring fans back. I've never felt so negative in 21 years of futility. At some point someone needs to step up and take responsibility.

He's just not a good hitter, it's as simple as that. An upgrade needs to be made at several positions if we want to contend this season, unfortunately the fat greek sat on his fat ass all offseason instead of upgrading like he was supposed.

He's better as a reliever than a starter, based on what we've seen so far. As a starter, he was mediocre in the NL.

If there's a silver lining to this, Tampa is struggling vs. the White Sox, Yankees are getting blown out, and the O's are losing the game and Chris Davis to an oblique injury.

 

But still, let's hope things are better tomorrow.
