So is Spittin tanking? He's had 3 guys IR eligible, and a DTD eligible and hasn't done squat, this was supposed to be his sport and we were all in trouble, 4 weeks in DGAF!!!

Lol forget position scarcity and youth, Pavelski was probably the #1 overall player in this format dating back to the start of last season. If it's not Ovechkin, it's Pavelski.

Do the division format and playoff format have to be re-aligned with going to 16 teams instead of 20?

Divisions, yes. Maybe cut down to just 2 Divisions?

 

Playoffs. Still 8 teams to get in. Top 2 in each division + 4 wildcard teams? Or top team in each division + 6 wildcard teams. Not sure what Yahoo allows.

I don't see any reason to change the playoff format. Going down to 4 teams would be too few imo, and having 6 or something would mean someone gets a bye, which from a "fun" perspective also sucks.

Its either 2x8 or 4x4 (if that one is possibly for divisions).

 

I feel 4X4 is just too small of divisions. We could always take a vote on it though.

We'll stick with 8. Half the teams in the NHL make the playoffs anyway. It'll be more like the real thing.
