No. I'm not saying that. I'm saying that Bonifacio, the #1 player in WAR should still be a Jay. It's pretty simple. Goins has and would have a role, but we should not have ditched Bonifacio. So why did we?

Exactly why the Leafs are not a playoff team and I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would say earlier in the year they were in a playoff spot. How can a team be in a playoff spot, when it isn't even the playoffs? At the time they were being talked about as being in a "playoff spot" by all the muppet NHL fans yet it wasn't the playoffs, it didn't make sense. And anyone with a brain could see as the season wore on that even when the playoffs started they wouldn't be in a playoff spot because they weren't a playoff team. Their FO is a joke, the players are 3rd and 4th line players on other teams.

 

Emilio Bonifacio is like the Leafs.....at one time being something they weren't.

Currently Emilio Bonifacio is in first in the entire league in WAR. We used to have him. Ahead of Mike Trout. Why did we let this guy go? His WAR is something that would be of huge value for our squad. I for one am disappointed in the management for being so shortsighted in taking Bonifacio off the roster. His WAR speaks for itself.

 

So, anyone have any theories as to why Bonifacio was let go?

I'm just still bitter about the fact that the Jays don't have Chris Shelton batting cleanup. Those 2 weeks where he leaded the league in HR's 8 years ago or whatever were the best of times.
