fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Author Posted July 26, 2013 Buehrle's best start by far this year. great win for him. Jose, Jose, Ed, Lind, Izturis all had good games as well. Yup, but remeber it's the Astros
SAAviour Verified Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 I wonder if this helps Buerhle's trade value? Against the Astros...never mind.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 jays will win just enough games to get a middle pick

SAAviour Verified Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 He's a slow starter, as is dickey, which means if we keep them next yer it will be another rough April if they make up 40% of the rotation. I want Buerhle gone even though he is doing exactly what he does year after year and still has value. His 19 mil and JJ's 15 mil off the books next year would really help.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 It definitely does. I'm sure there were scouts watching tonight, those guys will have been impressed. ERA is now at 4.50, which is tolerable. He's officially not having a terrible year anymore. He's one of the most consistent pitchers in the league right now, he would probably pitch better if he was in a non-AL East division but I don't think any team will take him at this point without him being a throw-in in a big deal.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Time to trade buehrle....get the most possible value for him.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Trade him. $18mil next season? Ridiculous. That's ace-like money for a guy who pitches like a #3 or #4.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 MB was good tonight but that Astros lineup tonight mightve been the worst lineup ive seen assembled in a long time. Walrus looked so bad btw. He cant turn on anything
