Agreed, people on this board way overrrating this offense, it's very undisciplined, full of hitters who simply don't have good approaches at the plate. Need another bat besides reyes imo.

 

they cant compete with a gimpy Cabrera+JPA+Kawasaki+Boni+Derosa and a s***** jose. they can have 1 of those guys in the starting lineup. any more is a disaster.

The reality is that the 11 game winning streak had some luck involved. We can't expect those types of streaks to go on forever. Even with a loss today this team is still 14-4 in its last 18 and this is f***ing incredible.

 

Reyes joining this team tomorrow is going to be a significant boost and this team will be ready to win some more games.
