Again, Bautista's timing is off. He goes through these from time to time. If we got him on track along with Edwin, and add Reyes in, it's a dangerous lineup.

Bautista relies on bat speed, he's getting older starting to think he is beginning to decline, he looks slow at the plate.

His bat speed doesn't look slow to me. He's in a timing slump. Unfortunately his swing is complex and it gets out of whack for a while.
