This team cannot get any sustained momentum with this pitching staff. Everytime it looks like they may go on a run get closer to .500, they revert back and lose 2 or 3 in a row.

I guess Pat didn't see the video of Reyes running? Buck and Pat always seem to know about what the players are doing pretty game. How did Pat not know about the running?

I have to admit, I'm starting to lean more that way too. If the only thing the ump was shouting at him was about calling a violation on the equipment, then he probably deserved it. If he was barking about something else, then no. No way should Gibbons have been tossed so fast though.

Gibbons hand gesture at chest level insinuated he was talking about the strike zone and that's reason enough I think.

I don't know about you Hurl...........that's f***ing weak with no words exchanged.

for me it's obvious he's pissed about the call. Who throws their batting glove away from the dugout. I have no issue with the ejection.

Welcome bro, not too many of us left here

I was out at a dinner and following along on my phone. How'd Nolin look? Was reading the GDT and my impression was that the BABIP and HR/FB dragons really got to the kid.

1st inning was weak 2 hits, then a home run which was costly. Started to get hit hard in the 2nd inning, and was pulled

Oi, that's not good. We'd better not wreck his development.

Oh for sure he should have been tossed. Especially considering the score.

First inning yes, second inning he was up and was rocked.

Wasn't his velocity down in the 2nd?

I liked the fact he got ahead in the count at least in the 1st, but his pitches seemed to be up, maybe nerves.

If that wrecks his development.... Then he was never going to get developed anyway.
