Rajai Davis on DL, call up RHP Chad Jenkins

Maybe I'm optimistic, but I think Jenkins will do just fine.

 

Somehow Jenkins actually seems like a good option after seeing Ramon Ortiz get a start.

Why would they trade Jake Arrieta, they will need him at some point too . This time of year you will have to overpay for garbage . We gutted the minors already and will have huge 40 man roster problems when some of these guys start coming off the 60 man DL . Who are you going to DFA when Reyes , Hutch , Perez ,Drabek and McGowan come off the DL

 

They have a bunch of depth as is, it's been tested a bit and he's still stuck in AAA.
