Boy the Leafs PP is horrendous for all that fire power.

 

Teams have adjusted to that cross pass by Marner and they've been crowding Matthews not giving him that shot...and the Leafs haven't adjusted with anything else.

Barry Trotz has to be considered one of the best coaches of all-time. Has the Islanders on track for 100+ points and giving up the fewest goals in the league, even though they just lost Tavares and are running Lehner and Greiss out there in goal.

I really hope Nylander turns it on after the all-star break. I'm getting sick of all the negative news around him. His underlying numbers have been good, but he's missing on many of his opportunities.

 

At least the Leafs beat Tampa in Tampa.

They were always going to lose tonight. Back to back. They've been wildly inconsistent lately. And, it was tee'd up to be a letdown game after the big win last night.
