    If we don't win these next 2, we can keep debating the little decision for the next 5 months. We know if we end up in the World Series John is looking for the first high leverage situation to double down and use little against the dodgers 3 best hitters, Freeman, Smith and Betts. And Little will probably strike them all out.

    I'd assume Hoffman was going to be used in the 9th if Little got out of the inning. I don't think it was a matter of him being unavailable

    Dodgers made 10 million last year free cash flow. Not a bad contract based on performance, but that contract specifically won't make the team much richer. Angels had him for years and didn't turn them into money printer. That's also pretending no other player contributes to the teams success. 700m revenue isn't impressive if you spend all of it to get that revenue.

    Alright I was confused because of a Toronto star article saying before last nights game. Ignoring 9 straight scoreless outings before the Aug 29 game. And it would have to include the 3 ER last night to get that number.

    Good news is we most likely have springer after today’s updates. If you get banged up there usually you don’t really feel it until the next day so he must have really got lucky. But again they may just be delaying bad news.

    His ERA 2 months ago. August 17 was 3.02. A month ago is was 3.11. It ended the season at 3.03. His first 4 postseason appearances up until last night, it was 3.00. Not sure where the 6.11 era numbers came from. A couple bad outings over a week or so in late July and early August where he had 7 ER over .1 innings pulled his results down a bit.

    The amount the Jay's spend is the perfect and fair amount, perfectly within the competitive spirit. Being in Canada is different as well since we have to overpay. Dodgers should be banned from the league I also don't like what the Mariners are doing, they should be looked into

    Ohtani went up until 0-20 recently. He has one really good game every few weeks.

    I am still bitter about Ohtani not signing here but as a small business owner it’s irking to see these articles posted and jerked off to in dodgers groups/reddit. Yes they bring in a lot of gross revenue but that’s not what earnings means in the accounting world.     Winning 2 in a row has already been done 2 times this series. A feat this team has only accomplished a mere 34 times this year (including all winning streaks in groups of 2,4,6 etc). Accounting for 72% of their wins.

    They said those numbers for little are prior to last nights game. i counted 14 1/3 innings 6 ER going back 4 post season and 17 reg season.

    we have better odds to win the series than we did after 2. I expect 2 wins.

    Well he hasn't had any high pressure situations. We are lucky for that. We all knew whoever it was, the bullpen would blow a close one. It was happening weekly for us.

    Yea he has been wild but more than 1 walk in roughly 10% of his appearances. If he was that bad he wouldn't be on the roster.

    8/79 reg season games with more than 1 bb. 1 HR in the last 75 regular season games. So it was just a bad result. Probably the pressure and he wasn't expecting to go.

    I don't care that Hoffman has had some good results recently. Still don't like him and don't like it anytime he goes in. I refuse to pretend he is a good closer. Most of the time we've used him recently hasn't been high leverage. 2 bb in the close game against Tampa he closed a few weeks ago and 2 hits and a walk to yankees in 1.1 when we put him in with a 4 run lead. I think Little wasn't as bad as everyone says.
