    Guardians have 2 players gambling on pitches. Get down 15 games to the tigers and make up 16 games because the tigers completely fall off. Maybe don’t go down 15 games in the first place? Fair enough

    Ippei is getting under 200m. He’s not as good as the other guy the dodgers have. its always a gamble with these guys. They are small (think this guy is same size as Yamamoto) and there are always concerns they won’t match up well with MLB hitters so it’s probably not a risk most teams can afford to take, other than the top 10 payrolls

    Olney says after talking to agents, everyone wants to come to Toronto now. It is the #1 destination for all free agents. That was a bit of an exaggeration but not really. This is the year to take advantage. Get Tucker and Bo and Imai.

    Not that I think the Dodger's would necessarily try to get Imai but it will be nice to see one of these guys not go to that team.     For all sports though, the books are adjusting lines in real time to promote as close to equal betting on all sides of their bets. So they make their 10% pretty much every time.

    As we figured, skubal only getting traded if the tigers receive an “overwhelming offer”. Someone will get him at the deadline it sounds like. I guess the tigers can still easily win that division so it makes sense to go for a 1st wildcard spot.

    As of today (Nov 10 in Japan) this Japanese Fabio looking pitchers team, the Seibu Lions, said they are posting him. Not sure if that starts the 45 day process today, but at least we should see where he ends up before new years.

    I chose not to ask for certain players, I just asked google to make me a roster based on 2 requests and they said it’s not possible. Bo, 1 good pitcher, 1 good reliever then. I like Fairbanks even though a lot don’t. Achieving a season where every hitter on the team finishes with an On-Base Plus Slugging (OPS) above .800 and every pitcher finishes with an Earned Run Average (ERA) below 4.00 is virtually impossibleunder normal Major League Baseball (MLB) conditions.

    Those were all bad teams excluding Boston. You could make the argument if Roman Anthony doesn't get hurt, that we wouldn't have ever made it past the wild card round because we would have lost the division Pretty sure he never played Boston though

    You'd probably get 20-1 that Trey has a better year than Skubal. I don't think we've seen enough to know how he will do over a full season. He had some shaky outings and some really good ones. Teams didn't have full scouting reports on him. We shouldn't be shocked if he has to go to AAA again at some point but I expect he will be a good #3 his rookie year.

    I donno Omar, a lot of pretty bad financial crimes in the states lately and some of them getting pardons. Like Trevor Milton, billions in investor fraud with his electric car company. You can steal millions with fraud and if you don’t have a criminal record, you will get like 2-5 years for a couple million. Anyway, I say before Clase winds up in custody, get him a wig and some plastic surgery. Bring him to Canada. Now he is Rodrigo, his papers were lost in a war torn country but he is 18 and although he looks old for his age from all the civil unrest and the stress it caused him. He does has a great arm.

    If he gets the dollar amount he wants it probably doesn’t matter to him anyway. This is his one big contract. I don’t see him going somewhere else just to play SS it Roger’s matches that offer for 2B.

    I got 2 plans with 250gb shared data for $37.50 each - $75 a month at Telus. No US option though I guess that’s where the price difference is. Why would anybody pay $110?

    There is a lot of money in political donations and lobbying etc with the gambling industry. They are going to want to make an example of these guys. I don’t care though. These casinos and apps ruin so many lives, including myself with some 6 figures in losses in my 20s and early 30s. I don’t want to see a couple players go to prison over this. I think it should have been like a 1-2 year suspension. If they can forgive PED’s, the Astro and Redsox sign stealing, brawls and physical assaults like Odor and Jose Ramirez, Aroldis Chapman etc Thats my opinion because of how they brought sports betting into the main sponsorships for baseball. I can see the lifetime ban if that wasn’t the case. Treat it like addiction.

    It’s same as Machado contract basically but his gets to 39m the last handful of years ending 2033 Tatis is like 2 months older than Vlad. Actually probably a better contract than what Vlads will end up as

    65 years seems kinda high Whoever even put single pitch betting options on a gambling site should be given 65 years As long as there are betting outcomes like this it’s going to happen again, they will just make sure to be careful next time. Its almost like entrapment Id be willing to bet they don’t do any prison time, bad enough the careers are ruined.
