This doesn't make sense, if they were acting like a lame duck FO, they'd have signed Vlad to an exorbitant amount of money yesterday. I see them acting as a responsible front office in consideration to the team moving forward, both financially and hanging on to the prospects of value so far rather than trade. I feel these guys are around for a while, especially Shapiro. Atkins can be his fire if they don't make the post-season, cause surely they wouldn't be able to bring him back, lol. For the record; I wanted Atkins canned after he chucked Schneider under the bus.
