    I'd say 95% of the time player opt outs, never work for the team, in this situation I believe you could be right. He'll certainly be sticking around to collect the first 50 million. If he continues to mash baseballs for two years, and opts out it could still sting the Org, concerning value they would've received without one, if he poops the bed and opts not to leave, he leaves them handcuffed for the rest of the 60 million/contract. Meh... Org always gets f***ed in player options, who am I kidding.
