  1. Rookie base knock in his debut, congrats kid.
  2. No doubt, my point in a nutshell.
  3. That can be entirely possible, doesn't mean I have to like the process, hahaha... I'd just wish they moved in this direction yesterday. And use the man, what's the harm? So we'll see Pina or Estrada or something get activated today when I think the proper direction was Yesavage. Fischer's eligible on the 6th, they could've kicked Easton Lucas to the curb when that time comes. There's only so many games left to get a real look at him, honestly I thought he was getting the call on the 15th of August, as his rookie status stays intact next season, we're running out of games. I digress... lets see what happens.
  4. So why wouldn't they just add him last night, they had an open spot. Unless IKF was added yesterday. They need to add a pitcher today anyhow. Not to mention he needs September reps if he were to be used in the postseason. IDK, I guess we'll see. I think he can seriously help and it irks me that they've even set themselves up for these roadblocks. That injury procedure with the MLB has been around for a long time, just tightened up during the last CBA. You rarely ever see guys jump from the farm to that position is all, likely a handful of times due to injury. Ughh... it really does annoy me, dude, lol.
  5. He needed to be added to the 40 man by last night to be eligible for injury activation, if he was put on the 26 man yesterday for a day, they still could've sent him back to Buffalo to start if they wanted or cut his work back and use him as a reliever that this club kind of sorely needed. Throwing Yesavage into the postseason without any work for emergency, that would be suicide.
  6. Sure it's possible, from everything I've read on him is he's MLB ready and pretty much polished, I don't get it. Using him low leverage even as multi inning pitcher to start would make things easier on him and lengthens out the pen. Again, I don't get it.
  7. There's an off day Thursday, it was either regular rest as they've said numerous times that they want(more work prior to the post season), and or pitching Friday would've been on 6 days rest, they didn't want to do it. I understand, and they believe Lauer's a possible fit against the LHH heavy Yankees or something of that sort. Meh, just win series. They'll be fine.
  8. Not adding Yesavage is baffling. Unless he can be added before the game this afternoon and still be eligible for the PS, it doesn't make sense.
  9. They don't want to take Bieber off regular rest. Reds have some good pitching against us, Greene, Lodolo and Littell. What a grind the MLB is, lol.
  10. I believe so.
  11. Manager John Schneider said after Sunday's 8-4 win over the Brewers that Scherzer was pitching through upper-back tightness, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports. The right-hander took a no-decision after striking out one and giving up four runs on nine hits and no walks across four innings.
  12. Yup, Houston lost also, now we root for Houston tomorrow against the Yankees.
  13. Cue the circus music Little? Geez, could be out of this.
  14. Why is there so many unhinged people on this forum? lol... *smh*
  15. Ed Rogers gave him that contract, nothing the FO could do about it.
