Billy Carlson and Seth Hernandez are set to make history as the first high school teammates who could be picked within the top 10 spots in any MLB Draft. Carlson had a great year, but college players have jumped over his stock. Could the Blue Jays be the team to pick him and contribute to MLB Draft history?

Liam Doyle has more of a long-term makeup as a reliever than he does as a starter, according to many draft experts. However, Jeremy suggests that his similarities to a future Hall of Fame starter who was scouted in the same way when he was still a draft prospect could mean something for Doyle's chances in the draft.

Current consensus boards have Ike Irish being picked anywhere from the 8th to the 12th range. The Blue Jays sit atop those selections in the eighth selection of the draft. Without a catcher in their top 30 prospects, not even having a catcher listed, Toronto could be the team to make the aggressive push to add him to their system.

Baseball America's Carlos Collazo provides his insight on how many of these top prospects fit the mold of being possible 1/1's and if any of them could drop as low as the eighth pick and give the Blue Jays a chance to secure good talent.

The Blue Jays are still making up ground for being the bridesmaid of MLB free agency the last two years by adding Max Scherzer on a 1-year, $15 million deal. While Scherzer will turn 41 in July, does he still have enough gas left in the tank to stabilize a team falling out of contention, or will he be trade bait for another season at the deadline?

The Blue Jays have missed out on almost every high-end free agent the last two off-seasons but finally landed themselves someone with Anthony Santander on a five-year, $90 million deal. Will Santander be enough to make up for missing out on Sasaki, Soto, and other big names, or will the Blue Jays have to begin to look into the next wave of prospects for help?
