I'll tell you the turning point - it's the "goggle party" after losing two games at the end of the season - they won NOTHING and they lose their way into the playoffs and they party - they've never won a game immediately after these parties in years prior. Now I know what the argument will be - it's a baseball thing, it just something they do in the sport, but after losing two games, where unless your competition (Seattle) loses, you may be out - it's just not good. A sports Physiologist would recommend against this because it gives you the same feeling as if you won something and you're satisfied with your accomplishment when you still have games to play.
Where is the Blue Jays Physiologist? They pay players millions and they should be able to afford this. It's why in hockey, the players always say they will enjoy this victory for a few minutes and then go on to planning for the next. The Jays lose and they party.
