  1. LMFAO Caleb's comments - as if he expected it
  2. This is why you don't take out your starter f***ing early - 89 pitches? he's one of your front line starter and your paying him as such. ffs
  3. I know but he has so many other strengths, I wish there was 1 stat that covers it all . lol he's 3rd overall in fWAR (for all catchers)
  4. yea it wasn't really a shot at Varsho
  5. Pete Crow-Armstrong playing CF is a treat to watch, gets ridiculous jumps, PCA OAA 11 Varsho OAA 4
  6. which might give us some hints as to why he isn't doing well since stuff+ doesn't take into account sequencing, deception and location.
  7. what's the best option for going to away games? Packages or book everything separately? I'm leaning to do things separately but want to hear from others
  8. The Red Sox are kinda liking that short porch
  9. yes with the exception on balls hit directly at him
  10. he's trying to be Gausman FB/Splitter combination and it worked some last season, not anymore. Gausman 94 avg and Francis is 92. He needs to change.
  11. life of a major league pitcher (starter) that tops out at 94/95, he needs to have better control
  12. Francis + Target Field. Keep it under 2/3 home runs - maybe 2 solo shots
  13. Interesting on picks, it would be good to factor that in somehow - even if it is only a small factor. I checked the individual plays for this season and he's been really bad on balls hit directly at him (OAA); there are 7 plays where he couldn't get the out. So not even a range issue just not able to make the play - balls going off his glove, missing them completely or making the grab and not getting the out at first with the pitcher covering. One play was a high chopper to his right and managed to get it but failed to get the out with the pitcher covering. would be nice if savant displayed the oaa on each play
  14. Royce Lewis pimped that bases loaded walk in the 4th
  15. I wish SN would keep those advanced stats up a little longer, barely caught this; Clase sprint speed is in the 96th percentile (29.3 ft/sec)
