  1. maybe they're trying to find a spot for his bat and playing Bo at 2B is the least disruptive to the overall roster
  2. ...anyway, announce the starters already. Hope JS and company aren't overthinking this Gausman Savage Bieber maybe Max is in the mix given his strong start?
  3. I don't think people understand how intimidating the A's were in 1992 - especially playing in Oakland, Mark McGwire, Rickey Henderson, Eckersley and Tony La Russa. for Alomar to hit that home run at that time on the road in Oakland is why I put it at #2 how do you know where I was lol?
  4. I must have misunderstood your springer>alomar post . all good
  5. I get people are dinging him for his off field stuff but there is no denying the talent so not sure how you can say "no question"
  6. willing to bet they come out a little flat in gm1, we need to get on Snell early
  7. until Sasaki started closing games, bullpen isn't elite but far from dog s***
  8. what's your order? 1. Carter 2. Alomar - ALCS 2 run shot to tie the game in the 9th, off the greatest closer ever 3. Springer - ALCS go ahead 3 run shot in the 7th 4. Bautista batt flip 5. Edwin - WC walk off home run 6. Sprague (off the bench pinch hit 2 run home run in the top OF THE 9TH) 7. Vladys grand slam in the ALDS
  9. yep. low key Davis. I also like Kevin Brown Orioles play-by-play
  10. Springer Lukes Vlady Bo Kirk ....
  11. The ESPN call is the best ("Kirk Gibson moment" I liked that) followed by Fox.....they're all good
  12. Dodger stadium equivalent to the 500 seats are going for $900+ (and available through Ticketmaster), field seats can be had for $2K
  13. Yep. sinker, sweeper, cutter, curve. He rarely throws a 4s fastball (9% usage during the regular season) I like this profile out of the pen
  14. yea just not the same as a well rested Hoffman, Bassitt has a ridiculous pitch repertoire I knew the Mariners weren't touching him
  15. Bassitt doesn't rely on velo
  16. I don't see the need for Berrios. Bassitt looked pumped in that 8th inning - a new weapon out of the pen
  17. I know people that got in and tickets are sold out Saw 500's on stubhub for $3K LOL
  18. Got really busy this morning so logged in late
  19. We will be the underdogs for sure. Dodgers as a team have even splits so you can't really neutralize them with lefties especially with the 3 batter/end of inning rule BA .255 vs lefties BA .252 vs righties The Dodger bullpen is good but not elite (Padres) - middle relievers can be exposed Roberts relies on Vesia and Treinen in late and close situations, Sasaki is now the closer - triple digits with a slider in the 80's - wipe out stuff. On defense Pages is their best outfielder, huge drop off after that. Infield dee is a wash between the 2 teams Mookie might get the edge at ss Our bottom of the order beats any team in baseball We can beat this team, will need a little luck - home field will be huge for us
  20. The way Springer was jumping up and down after he hit the home run his knee must be better than we thought, getting Bo back would be sweet.
