  4. JT "..alot of hard hit balls IN THE AIR" That's the way.....
  5. Nick Anderson just randomly appeared - didn't know he was with the Royals
  6. That's more the old swing.....easier on a pitch near your eyes
  7. medium/low leverage reliever, gotta bring the heat
  8. yea pretty bad, I noticed this ump gets quite low behind the catcher it's possible he just guessed because he didn't see the ball - he has to look across and over the catchers head to see the outside side of the plate
  9. Yes. "there's alot going on there" when Mark DeRosa asked hm about his swing a few years ago on MLB Network
  10. Could be - it's hard to find the exact timeline of some these success stories - but it's enough for me and the Dodgers eventually hired him
  11. I need to see a side angle and unfortunately SN either doesn't have the cameras or they aren't showing it but I believe he's taking the Mattingly approach and trying to be short to the ball - so basically his bat path goes straight down - from his shoulders directly to the ball (like a chop to a tree) and then up. So his bat isn't in the zone very long which decreases the chances of him barrelling the ball. The way to get good loft on the ball is to get behind the ball instead of slicing down on it, match swing path with the plane of the ball. It looks like an "upper cut" but it's not. If you hear a hitting coach mention swing path and ball plane, sign him up. It's well documented, Mattingly is true old school and doesn't believe in any of the new swings/approaches
  12. LA turned his career around, my post has nothing to do with Atkins, it was an excellent signing.
  13. just my 2cents, I have more but won't post it. ..... Thank you LA for Turner
  14. his bat isn't in the zone long enough to barrel the ball
  15. a FB right down the pipe, no respect
  16. Yessss! Barger - a rope to 1st
  17. oh my Babe.....you have no arm
  18. whoever is deciding the line-up decision needs be fired. Exposing Barger like this isn't right for him and more importantly for the team on the field and Yariel
  19. That's the swing the Dodgers developed...
