  1. game was tied
  2. it is 100% a mechanical issue, Jays should hire JD as hitting instructor
  3. he's also top 10 (amongst all 1B) in most offensive categories - outside the power/slugging stats
  4. gotta trust the players on the field - the pitcher and catcher to read the batter and adjust accordingly
  5. watching Mike Scioscia in game management used to drive me crazy, their catcher would look into the dugout for the sign - on every single pitch at least it seemed it was on every pitch. No wonder they sucked for so long - and still do long after he left.
  6. That sucks when the team doesn't trust the pitchers instincts, they were lucky anyway to tie it in the top of the inning when Josh Naylor through behind Buxton and he sprinted home to tie the game
  7. ...but something has to give
  8. That would be crazy, 4 field managers in 8 seasons
  9. that is brutal, zero leadership (from coaches/managment) on this team
  10. they really trying hard to get vogel going but Jansen should be in there instead (unless he asked for a day off)
  11. I'm not disagreeing. JS gets a report during a pre-game assembly that essentially gives him the game plan for the day (the analytics). It's what went into the decision to pull Berrios for Kikuchi, it's not a baseball move based on what's happening on the field.
  12. JS is making the call but it's based on several factors like pitcher availability, work load, the pre-game reports...etc
  13. I mean he is directly calling out Atkins
  14. Haven't seen this much s***ing on the team (by the mainstream media and now Keegan) in a while, changes are coming
  15. can Deluca pull a ball or what, nice read by Varsho
  16. that's some weird foot work by the babe lol but he got it done
  17. could be and with the pressure to get the players in the line-up maybe he's still not 100%
  18. Turner bro, man that was such an unproductive AB
  19. Soto with his 10th home run......Judge and Soto are carrying that team Judge wRC+ 176 Soto wRC+ 164 ...... Volpe 126 Verdugo 113 it's really just those 2 This is what we needed from Bo and Vlady
  20. "..we're getting into better counts..." ?? seriously? this is painful to watch but I'll try and finish it
  21. and today the Dodgers announced Sheehan TJ surgery; the Dodgers and the Rays with many of their pitchers on the IL could put together 2 pitching staffs - maybe even an all star caliber rotation Baz McClanahan Pepoit Rasmussen Springs Miller May Sheehan Hurt Kershaw Gonsolin
