Why was Charlie Montoya fired in the first place? He had a good connection with many of the Latin players especially Vlad. Cito without opening a can of worms managed with two world series and had an excellent relationship with his more diverse team. The jays seems lest diverse that in the past. I heard it said once that the Jays will never win another world series because of the way Cito Gaston was treated as a black manager. I do not know about that, but talk of a curse is still out there. I hope that is not the case.
