Just a genuine quick ask for you mathematical geniuses. What's the expected win number for each wild card and what's the number for a guaranteed jays playoff birth -
Okay long time reader..the whole max effort thing. Can we not all agree it takes max effort to throw a 87 MPH slider 30 times a game or max pressure throwing a splitter to spin. Im sure a guy who throws 95 consistently can whip it another 4 5 MPH but his arm take more damage with offspeed snd thats why you limit your starter cause his arm gets torched tryna throw 3 off speed pitches 60% of the time.
